Shuttle service by tourist micro-bus will be made available from Thamel (in front of the Sanchaya Kosh Building) leaving every half an hour from 9:00 – 12: AM) and returning from Sankhu to Thamel every half an hour from 2:00 – 6:00 PM).

Those who prefer to take private transport can easily find the way to Sankhu that passes through Bouddh and Gokarna to the East. Public transport (micro buses) leaving the old bus park, New Baneswor, Koteswor, Chabahil, Bouddha can also be used to reach Sankhu. It will take 40 minutes to reach Sankhu from Kathmandu though may take longer if traffic is heavy or disrupted.

Youth volunteers in Sankhu are available to guide the visitors or provide any necessary assistance around the festival events areas. Limited home stay opportunities are also available for tourists who wish to stay in Sankhu and explore the pristine natural beauty and cultural heritage of Sankhu more closely.
